We had, oh, about 500 toothpicks leftover from the breakfast. Andrew quickly claimed them as his own, and we've been making marshmallow snowflakes all morning.
That is a great idea! I am sure my 5-year old crafter, Caedmon, is grateful to you and Andrew for all these great ideas...otherwise, we would never do anything creative like this!
I agree with the comment on the math skills. I have used this in the classroom as a geometry lesson. Ask the students to make basic shapes and can also be used to make the more advanced ones such as cubes. Great fun with such simple things.
