The Sound of Music family
In Beauty and In Grace has an excellent resource for us! She's found a free online book of Maria Trapp's advice about family. The Sound of Music is my favorite romantic movie of all time. I spent much of my youth spinning around a pasture, arms outstretched, trying desperately to sing "The hills are alive!"

I am going to have to read that book. I'm from Vermont and have actually been to the Trapp family lodge in Stowe several times - beautiful! I just love your blog!

By the way, I was Maria in a little community theatre several years ago. It was so much fun! I was in several high school musicals as well, but Sound of Music was my favorite. I drive my kids crazy singing Edelweiss, Do Re Mi, such good stuff! :0)
