A timely reminder: you can make your own Tucks pads with witch hazel.

If it happened that someone had some swelling, just happened, they could add some patchouli essential oil to the witch hazel.

Oh, you poor dear. I'm sorry that you're experiencing what I think of as just the worst thing of the post-birth experience.

I had good luck with plain old hot water - like, really, really, hot on the corner of a clean washcloth and, uh tucked into place for just long enough for the water to cool. Repeated a couple of times, it was usually effective enough for long enough to be worth repeating.
