Isn't childbirth glorious? :) Just kidding, it's all worth it!

If it happened that someone had some swelling, just happened, they could add some patchouli essential oil to the witch hazel.

Bless your heart! And they are so much more economical.

put the jaundiced baby by a sunny window...the light helps bring down the bilirubin...

Oh, you poor dear. I'm sorry that you're experiencing what I think of as just the worst thing of the post-birth experience.

I had good luck with plain old hot water - like, really, really, hot on the corner of a clean washcloth and, uh tucked into place for just long enough for the water to cool. Repeated a couple of times, it was usually effective enough for long enough to be worth repeating.

Thank you much for reposting this! My daughter is almost 17-months-old, but... Let's just say that I'm still using Tucks and leave it at that. I'm going to save that link.
