Cheerful frugality to go

Let's have takeout tonight--Money Saving Mom's cheerful new post, Less Is More: lessons from our little basement apartment.

Elise has a horrible ear infection and won't detach from my neck long enough to type.

Oh, I know all about ear infections. I hope she is feeling better soon! You don't want a sick kid on their birthday.

My younger daughter had such problems with ear infections. I'm sorry she is sick. My kids got much better pain relief with ibuprofin than with Tylenol. If she's has been on an antibiotic for a couple of days and is not better, please take her back. She might need a different one. I'm praying that she (and you) will be feeling better soon.

We are fighting "something" here, too (not sure yet what it is). My little one (about 4 months younger than Elise) is fighting a 103 degree temp. Whoever heard of being sick like this in June?!! Sigh...I think we have a long night ahead of us!

I just want to know how littles manage to get ear infections! Is it in the water?

Liam's been tugging and cranking on his ears like crazy -we're getting four teeth in at the same time, and Doc says he has a mild ear infection. No antibiotics though; just Motrin and lots of snuggles. How DO they get ear infections though? Sheesh...

Hugs for all of you - I know what you're going through. My little 'Cling-on' is finally napping....hopefully you'll get the rest YOU need too.
