Thanks for visiting my blog and the nice congratulations! Wow, that looks like fun. I bet you really enjoy yourselves. Me...I'm not into the outdoors. The last time I went camping was when I visited my brother in New Mexico and we took a drive around NM, Colorado, Utah and Arizona. I slept in the car, I'm so paranoid about bugs, LOL!
You're going to have a great camping trip! A test run is a great idea. Just make sure you take enough warm clothes and bedding for cold nights. That can make all the difference. And don't be afraid to chuck the campfire cooking and go to McDonald's if things aren't working out as planned. You can always just do s'mores later. =) Have a great time, and thanks for checking in with me. I'm enjoying your blog.
Where are you going camping? It must be southern because here in Michigan it is past tenting weather. I imagine that next month in Tennessee would be a little chilly too.
We camped out in the backyard this weekend as well! I bought a tent on Friday, and dh and the kids were just dying to try it out. I shocked dh down to his toes by staying in the tent with them all night, instead of in the house, lol. Even the 8-month old baby slept outside with us.
Sounds like a fun family weekend. HOpe you were warm - here it is freezing cold out. We would have froze our little ukmmm's off if we would have tried camping out in the back yard.
Wow! Camping next month? Yeah, here it will be snowing and although I went camping one july in the snow here, I do not reccomend it! Beautiful pictures!

Earlier in the summer my family and my niece and nephew slept under the stars on our deck to watch a meteor shower.
Activities like this create life time memories!

Those pix are enough to make me want to acquire a tent. Looks so charming - I hope all went well!

Meredith,
Everyone in your family seems to have a knack for making beautiful little touches everywhere!

Hope you had a good time.
