Crossing the Atlantic

My brother is flying solo from Europe to Utah today. Even though he's now an experienced pilot, he'll always be my little brother. We'll be so relieved when he lands! And girls, he's still single...

Update: I think he's in the air today! Their squadron's tanker malfunctioned, and they have been stranded in the Azores off Portugal while a crew was flown in to repair it. Don't feel bad for him--he's enjoying all the delicious seafood and a day or two spent snorkeling. I'm so glad he has such an exciting life to balance all that work and training!

How old is he? Is he a Christian? I have a beautiful niece who is 25 and has had trouble meeting the right guy!!

I know, he'll probably be so mad when he sees this, but how could I resist?
He's spent so much time training and overseas he just hasn't had an opportunity to meet Miss Right yet.

I love that you put a plug in for your handsome brother, Meredith! My mom always used to say, "How else are you going to meet someone except through someone that you both know?" I've also got "just the right girl" for him. She's a 25 year old wonderful Christian girl who simply hasn't met the right guy either. She was raised to be a skilled homemaker by a mom who was frugal, too! (Does that earn extra points?!) Tell your brother that he has our family's thanks and appreciation for his service to our country! (And tell hime not to dismiss all these ladies wanting to fix him up, because you just never know!)
Blessings to you-
Susan

My sister is married to an Air Force pilot (retired). They sure do look handsome standing next to those planes, don't they! Best of luck to your brother--is he landed by now?

I've seen some lovely single bloggers out there. No Average Girl, for one. And if he's a little older, Laura at Let Me Be A Woman is a catch! (she's gonna kill me)

Let us know when he lands, my husband is a military pilot also and I always pray for those who serve.

Those pilots always break down in the greatest places, don't they???

It's been nice catching up with your world, Meredith!
