Inspiring Ideas and Conclusions

Jenna from Choosing Home has just published an interview with Martha Greene of Marmee's Kitchen. "Marmee" gives some great advice for young wives and mothers--in the conclusion, reminding us that we need to learn the skills of homemaking just as we would learn to perform well the tasks of any paid job. This mindset has lifted me from many a housekeeping rut.

Monica from Homespun Heart is planting real Easter grass this week. What a great idea!

Maggie from Hillbilly Housewife wraps up her month-long organic grocery experiment with some thoughtful conclusions about the budget.

What a great idea!! I just bought this same item because it was a 2 for 1, but none of us liked it either. I will try it in granola.
Thanks!!

Meredith, Thank you SO much for these great links - I especially enjoyed the organics article as this is something I think of often. And, the interview with "Marmee" was both inspirational and encouraging! Hope your Easter grass turns out great! :)
