Lilies of the Field: A Violet Basket

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was helping my grandma weed her perennial bed of violets, but this clump was too pretty to toss in the compost heap.

I stuck it in an old twig basket. Free centerpiece!

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matthew 6:28-30
