Handlettered business cards

File this under last minute frugality.

I didn't have cards printed in time, so I'm jotting my contact information on these leftover estate sale tags.

Kind of fitting--don't you think?

Those are darling. I used to print up business cards on the computer to hand out when I met other moms but I ran out ages ago. I bet I have something around the house I could handletter. What a fun project for this weekend when I don't really feel up to going anywhere.
I love when using what ou have turns out a much more interesting product than runnng to the store.

Those cards will go in every blogger's "to keep forever for inspiration" pile when they go home!

Meredith, I think it's PERFECT - a great example of what you're about!

I would so be hanging on to that if I was giving one of those - how unique and individual. :) Hope it's a great weekend!

Great idea in a pinch.
For future reference, you can get 500 business cards printed for "free" from www.VistaPrint.com. The shipping is approximately $6. I have used these for a couple of years and still have 1/2 left.

Given the unusual media and your beautiful penmanship, it's the perfect solution and one that will be remembered.

I love them! Great idea! :)
Did you color the green border, too, or was it original on the tags?

Blessings,
Michele

You could not find anything more perfect if you had planned for months with an unlimited budget! Just on more reason why I look forward to your every post.

I love them! I don't think you could have something made that would end up looking as cool.

Ahhh, Meredith, thank you for your very kind words! I'm SO glad I got to meet you. You're such a kind and thoughtful person & it shows on your blog as well as in person. I wish too that I had more time at Blissdom to soak up more info from all of you on the panel. There was SO much information to take in, it was almost overload at times. Can't wait to do it again!

You were a joy to meet.....and so thrilled with getting a chance to spend time with even though it was way too short.I just put my post up, and of course, so glad I got that pic of you before we had to leave. :)
It makes all the difference now to be able to read this with a person behind the post. :)

Love these! Can you share how you got the highlighter to outline the card so neatly? Or were they pre-done?

I'm so disappointed I didn't get one! I saw you and your handsome man across the room as well. We moms with babes were limited a bit in our socializing. Maybe next time!
