I know how to pick 'em

I can't help smiling when I discover a great new blog:

"Eating out (all the time, I mean) is...well, it's sort of a snare and a delusion. You think that you can afford it, but that's because you don't put it in your grocery budget. If you did, you'd be appalled."

What a cutie! And thank you for sharing the new site. She's already inspiring me, just like you have.

Also, in regards to the frozen veggie post below, you can grow your own spinach, too. It's an easy crop to grow, at least in my zone 7 area (Mid-Atlantic), and can be tucked under and around other plants, like tomatoes. Given your warmer zone, you may want to try a variety of spinach that doesn't bolt during the summer.

I LOVE that blog. It is always good to find likeminded people who offer encouragement.

Cute baby, oh I do love kissing baby cheeks. :)

Hi Meredith! Thanks for the comments and the link! I'm honored...of course I have your blog bookmarked and enjoy it a lot, so your notice means so much to us!

Your baby is adorable.

By the way, I have been following the Consumer Safety law that you've been mentioning. Want to know what's most chilling? It may extend to resale of children's books...

OH, he is too, too precious! You do find the best links - I loved this one. I'm so happy to have my new computer, but my favorites list was lost forever. At least I can start filling it up again.

I've visited this blog before, via comments Leila has left on your blog, but have enjoyed reading it in depth today.

She's funny, reminds me of the Nester's writing style and can-do attitude. Her idea about spring-boarding your menu planning from things you like to eat in restaurants is genius.

thanks for the reminder!
