School uniform exchange

An amazing (and practical!) way for the body of Christ to reach out to the community:

Jackson Park Church School Uniform Exchange

*If you'd like to participate, they will accept more donations 10 am Saturday.

Not only does this save families money. I think it is also a fine example of the church working for a healthier environment.

All the public schools in our area that have adopted a uniform policy maintain a uniform closet. We all drop off our outgrown uniform clothes and buy gently used items for a fraction of the retail cost, any time of the year; families in need can pick up uniforms at no cost. And the money raised goes to the PTO. It's a win-win all around.
