We celebrated by picking up some soft little blue clothes at the thrift store.
I'm starting from scratch, since I'd given away all Andrew's baby clothes.

Warm congratulations. I enjoy reading your blog, you are so positive and thankful. I love that you combine being frugal with such beauty in everyday life. I'm not always frugal, but don't have time for a lovely tablescape. I love to see your creativity.
My kids are 12 years apart so I did not have anything saved when I got pregnant with the 2nd. But it's amazing how God provides and how many wonderful things are available through frugal sources!
A baby brother for Andrew and ELise! Yeah! That is so exciting. Being a mom to boys is such a special priviledge (of course, being a mom to girls is too, but it's a different priviledge). You're very blessed!
Congratulations! My sister-law and I once commented that you end up 'wanting' newer baby clothes even if you've saved yours because they don't store well. We've found that unless you really get the stains out (and I mean its a real deep clean) little traces come out in storage making the garments look terrible.
She had some stored from the first and could use them with the fourth but found all these spots that weren't visible when they were stored. She is a very particular laundry maven, pre-treating, hand-scrubbing, etc and was shocked to see those stains on 'her' clothes!
So 'Amen' to yard sale baby clothes, and twin sales!

How wonderful! Your new son looks perfect in his lst picture. Take good care of yourself and don't stress over things that won't matter in 10 years. That's my philosophy. I mean, who is going to remember what you wore to a wedding, if you split a meal, etc. P

We weren't going to find out if our little honeymoon souvenir was a boy or girl, but baby made it obvious that we are going to be parents of a boy as well. Only about 9 weeks and counting to go! Thank goodness for rummage sale season being in force in WI now too!

oh how wonderful!! I loved knowing the gender of my babies before they were born so I could pick out little clothes with them in mind! And baby clothes are the easiest thing to find secondhand - so satisfying to outfit a little one so frugally. Congratulations to you and your family.
