Swamped

Ear tubes? Check. 10th anniversary? Hmmm. Father's Day? Double hmmm.

I've appreciated all your prayers and patience! If you have emailed me within the last couple of weeks, chances are it's still in my inbox.

Yet with everything that must done in a day, other moms are reaching out to others. Isn't that the point of all this thrift? Thanks for touching my heart:

Happy Anniversary! We are celebrating our 8th today. Actually we plan to celebrate on Friday night sans kids.

Just remember to breathe and relax. I pray Elise is feeling well soon.

i actually thought about you guys and the ear tubes today. what a blessing tubes are so readily available. i remember my first child, born in 1966 had so many ear aches and so did i, born 1946. my mother said i would grow out of them and i did, but i remember many hurting nights. guess what? an anniversary and father's day can be postponed. don't even think about it. anita

Glad Elise is ok! Congratulations on your 10th anniversary! Today would have been my 36th anniversary, it is a difficult day for a widow, but we celebrated many happy anniversaries. Just focus on what is important, your children and each other.

Hope all goes well. I had tubes as a child and remember staying up all night long in the hospital the day of the surgery. Why? It was SO LOUD! I had apparently been unable to hear well enough to notice real sounds, and I clearly remember hearing conversation I wasn't right in front of, footsteps, beeping noises....it was amazing.

Congratulations on your anniversary as well! Be like the Queen of England and decree that these special days will be celebrated at a more convenient date.

We are hosting our daughter's graduation open house on Saturday so all of our energies (and money) are going into that. I have thought of you often during my planning. "How would Meredith do this?" "Meredith would make this pretty. How do I make it pretty?" LOL

We agreed to postpone our Father's Day celebration by a week so we can give it the attention it deserves. Hopefully I will have recovered by then!
