That is very funny! You must have children that can read... and are tall enough to see in the drawer. :) If I did that I would be giving myself away immediately. :)
I purposely put the spoons in the fork slot and vice versa because they fit better. My kids pretty much have it figured out and my oldest is four. If I could just get the two year old to only put back *clean* utensils we'd be all set.
Hilarious, Meridith. Our drawer liner - $2 from Ikea - is shaped so that you can only put certain utensils in certain spots. So no labeling required - or I would be right with you!
This post made me wonder ... could you sometime share your daily schedule with us? Emptying the dishwasher is a morning chore here -- and both kids DESPISE that particular chore. So, we have fighting and grumbling often in the morning.
I didn't want to tell her I wrote the names of the utensils so that I could put the silverware away properly.

I did the same thing in my silverware drawer. I did it though so my husband (the dishwasher empty-er) would know where things go.

mine are labeled too and one guest teased me about it since my son was only 2 at the time
