Tupperware meat marinators

Copperswife tells us how to use those Tupperware meat marinators. You know, the trays with the spikes inside? They actually boost the marinade's power. Unlike Ziploc bags, they're reusible for raw meats, too.

I have 2 of these and they ARE wonderful. I have mine in 2 sizes. I use both of the often. The large one when we have friends and family over for a meal and the smaller one when it is just the 'big guy' and the boys and me...I have used mine also used mine to serve other foods. It holds burgers ready for the grill too. It is a very helpful piece of Tupperware.

Speaking of Tupperware, I have an older 1 quart Tupperware "pitcher" that has served me well for years and years. It is the tall round one with the hole in the top with the flip top..I use it to hold vinegar in my laundry room for the rinse and I have another one I use to hold detergent. (I buy the extra large bottles of detergent but they are too heavy to heft up and pour a scant 1/4 cup into the washer. This works well, looks nice on my laundry room shelf and I can keep it refilled as needed.

Thanks for all you do. Your blog is a joy to read. Roxie

I am so embarrassed to say I have a brand new, still in the bag marinator in my yard sale pile!!

We didn't know what to do with it. It came in a surprise pack I bought.

I think I'm going to keep it! LOL

Tricia, if I came to your garage sale, and saw the "new-in-the-bag" Tupperware, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!! I love my Tupperware!!(And my brothers always tease me about all my Tupperware whenever they come to my house and look in my cupboards!)
Love this blog, Meredith!!

I love my marinater, it is probably my most used piece of Tupperware! I use it for picnics and camping too, it's great!
Here is an awesome marinade for beef (tenderloin is the best):
Tawny Port wine
Soy sauce
chopped garlic
I use most of the bottle of wine, about 2 cups of soy sauce and 6 chopped cloves of garlic.
Let your meat marinate in the fridge overnight and then grill it up. It is soooo tender and juicy!
