In progress

We strongarmed the armoire into the dining room, where it sits perfectly (big sigh of relief). It's a back-buster. I need to finish painting the interior and then arrange all my too-big-for-the-cabinets serving pieces inside. This thing holds a ton! Meanwhile, I stumbled upon a better fabric for the chair cushions. There was a long, skinny strip of this green and yellow check at a thrift store.

Aren't you glad you didn't sell the armoire? It's looking great. I also like the new fabric for the chair seats. Gotta love it when things come together like that!

Suh-weet! I love it. The armoire looks great...can't wait to see it with the serving pieces inside. And your room will come together so nicely with the new "drapes" and chair covers.
Also, I love the new look of your blog...very fresh and spring-y.

wow! You are going to have such a great look when it's all done! The armoire looks wonderful in its new home, and the checked fabric is perfect to coordinate with the duvet cover fabric. This is going to be a gorgeous room when you are done (I'm thinkin' it looks pretty nice already!)

I'm super-impressed! You would do well with a small furniture refinishing business, my friend! (Andrews's nightstand, your chairs, your armoire,...)
