Three happy things

A bouquet of flowers delivered for my birthday! Napkins finally off the dining room table, and a basket that will slide into the armoire...
which I managed to maneuver flat on its back, all by my achin' self. I'm putting a top coat of dark green glaze over the gray stain. Inside will either be light blue or a peachy canteloupe...

Meredith,

I'm wondering about that article ... which I have not heard. Could those reports of random fees be scare tactics?

I have used credit cards successfully for over 20 years without paying any fees or interest.

Happy Birthday! Looks like your armoire is going to turn out wonderfully. I have a buffet that I use for linens (plus certain serving pieces and vases, and art supplies too) and it is so useful to have a place to put all of those things together. It's been a while since I've added to my napkin collection and I think you've inspired me to start checking the thrift stores & yard sales with those in mind again.

When you say you're going to do something, girl, you get it done!!! I can't believe you're that far on the armoire already. I can't wait to see it!!!

Wow, you meant business with that armoire, didn't you? I'm impressed with your brute strength!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEREDITH! What pretty yellow!! :)

I am so impressed that you got the armoire out and worked on right after you thought of it. I have a $50 hutch similar to the one in that link you posted. I got it out of a trading paper. I haven't done anything to it except polish it up. It's a very dark brown wood. I'd like to lighten it up and still keep it a wood color. I like how you get things done!

It sounds like a productive happy birthday for you! I hope so!

Happy birthday! The armoir is going to be gorgeous! The blue or canteloupe will both be wonderful - think how happy seeing one of those cheerful colors will make you:) And you have absolutely inspired me to start up a cloth napkin collection - those are beautiful!

Happy Birthday to you. 3/27 is my birthday too, so I'm in good company! Love the armoir and the fact that you started it right away! Love that when you think of something, you leave no stone unturned - Looking forward to the finished product.

Happy Birthday!!! Your roses are lovely!

The basket of napkins is gorgeous. I'm glad they'll "slide into the armoire", but they are certainly pretty enough to use as a decorative accent just as they are!!

Wow!!! Someone was industrious yesterday!!! Way to go!! I will be looking forward to seeing the armoire when you are finished with it. The color combinations sound great!

Hi Meredith, and Happy Birthday! My birthday is next week, and it's fun to know we share springtime birthdays!
I think I am getting a clue as to how you get so much done.....where I might stew about something, and wonder how I'll ever fit it in, you just grab whatever time you can, and DO IT!!! I think I worry about things being too perfect, and make them bigger in my mind than they need to be. You set a good example for me, and inspire me to just simply get started on some things!
Hope your birthday is/was wonderful!
Susan
