Finding thrift stores near you

I think I've stumbled upon a group of people who love thrifting even more than I. No, wait, they definitely do! (I'm too anti-clutter to match their level of enthusiasm.) This cool site even has a directory of thrift shops you can search. The list for my city was accurate.

I think I'm gonna like it.

Now, I wish I could find a site to help me find a bread outlet in Santa Fe!

It was pretty accurate for my area as well.

Thanks for posting the link - it's definitely nice to know where they are for when we travel or go visit grandparents!

Great find. I can't wait to read through the articles. I am a thrift store junkie. In fact, I am hitting our Goodwill first thing in the morning. I am on a hunt for books for my son!! Thanks for the inspirational reading ;)

Oooh, I'll have to check this out!

I used to have a book (an actual book, with ISBN number and everything) that detailed and rated all the thrift shops in my region. The author evaluated *everything* including available parking, the relative realisticness (is that a word?) of the pricing, the demeanor of both the clientele and staff - it was awesome. And then one day I lent it to a colleague, who subsequently quit and was never seen or heard from again.

I'm still grieving.
