I appreciate all the well wishes. We feel so blessed to be in this cute little home. We have the nicest neighbors and are so close to almost everything. Moreover, we FINALLY have phone service. Granted, it's currently only one jack, but what joy to hear that telephone ring again! And hot water, too! After a week of showering at the YMCA, I'm so grateful for a hot bath. This is why you MUST leave emergency money in your budget for post-purchase repairs, or else, as Dave Ramsey says, Murphy will move in, too.I'm still unpacking boxes, so I'd better get back to work.
