The buyer for our home said she was interested in buying any of our furnishings we no longer need. Wow! She is purchasing the outdoor patio furniture, the front porch rockers, and the living room draperies (which I love, but will absolutely not work on the new house's windows.) I will get back my cost plus a little profit on the yard sale finds--not to mention, not having to move anything extra. Yippee!

WAY TO GO!! Pack less, move less, have extra money to get new. Now that's a blessing straight from God. I'm so happy for you.
Your great taste pays off again!

Hi! I've been enjoying your blog for several weeks now!
I have a question for you...I have a chest freezer outside on my back porch. It works fine, except because of the climate I live in, I'm having rust problems. It isn't self-defrosting, so a lot of condensation builds up during the summer. Space is an issue so it has to remain outside.
I'd like to sand it and try to repaint it. Do you have any experience in this area? Any suggestions?
thanks!
Does this mean your new house is a go?
(I hope, I hope, I hope!

how long was your home on the market, it doesn't seen that long ago you decided to sell. You are really lucky in this market to sell so fast.
Proving, once again, that you are an excellent decorator and stager. I really see it as a future career for you!
Yippee indeed - well done for making that small profit!
