Library Bag: Audio Visual

Just a couple of great things we've enjoyed without cost this week:

Bread Comes To Life, an ALA Notable Children's Video narrated by Lily Tomlin with music by George Winston. 22 interesting minutes of verse and documentary-style filming of bread.

We've watched this three times!

Ted Jacob's The Days Gone By, a CD from Music for Little People.

Make use of car time to expose your kids to verses of classic American poetry. This is folk-style music even adults enjoy. This CD includes one of my fall favorites by James Whitcomb Riley, "When Frost is On The Punkin".

Aaaah, fall is on its way!
