If ever I wished I were pregnant again, I did today.
Mom and I found an armload of fashionable XL Mimi and Pea In The Pod clothes at a charity thrift store. We bought them for $1.50 apiece and promptly consigned them.
We've been picking up kid things at yard sales and dropping them off at at store in my mom's town. Each month we've averaged between $60-$80 dollars in profit. Pretty good for shopping we would have done anyway!
Incidentally, this store is a great place to buy kids and maternity clothes if you don't want to yard sale yourself. The owners are very picky about stains and quality, but the prices are low. Most kids pieces sell in the $5 range and maternity under $10. For my own family, I try to stay under 50 cents to $1.00 a garment.

Consignment shops are the best way to find clothes for my kids and I. I love being able to go into the shop I frequent and find several items for myself that fit and are feminine. Saving money is a plus, too.
