"I am here as witness and steward, and worshiper of the Maker. I want to treat less callously what He made. And with a clothespin, a homemade meal, a planted seed, give thanks."

This is a beautiful quote. I'm heading over to check her out. I had to giggle when I first read it, instead of reading "Daily Portion" I read "Dolly Parton". Apparently, I need to slow down when I read. :)
thanks for the link...it was reaffirming to read.
Great quote...sandy toe
That is a lovely quote and definitely how I want to view earth day!
Thanks for the great link, Meredith. I am going to put it on my blog as well. She articulated it very well.
How beautiful; thanks for sharing!
The simple things in our lives are so profound. Thank you for sharing that quote from Missy. If that doesn't give value to all the women who sacrifice other things in life to do just that, I don't know what does.
