When You Give A Mom Some Free Paint...

...she must first move all the furniture, polish the platters stuck under the sofa, make room to store them in the armoire, then iron the napkins she finds wadded in the back!

Still dealing with the chain reaction that is my house. See you soon!

Isn't that the way? Good luck sorting and organizing!

I love the way you "keep it real" ~smile~. You truly are an inspiration to me.

Why doesn't our motivation last as long as the project? :)
Can't wait to see the finished product.

Sounds like our home, too :).

I am wondering if y'all are still doing low-carb or not and how your dietary decisions are effected by your finances.

We recently had a bathroom chain reaction. Love the end result though!
Good luck and have fun with it!

I know what you mean. My daughter decided to switch bedrooms and the chain reaction has let to all sorts of challenges. We're hoping to install new flooring throughout the house this year, and I shudder at all the work that will entail....moving things....all the china and books....

"Chain reaction" says so much! The spring weather is getting me energized but the desire to be outside pulls at my willingness to complete projects.

It always looks worse before it gets better! I'm sure it will look marvelous.

Well spring cleaning is definitely happening in your home! Those napkins are beautiful.

I need the first trimester exhaustion to wear off, so I can get to cleaning too. I can't wait to see the results!

You are so funny...it would have been MUCH better to give you a COOKIE!

I hope you get a cookie at the end of all that:)
SOme of the fog of the first trimeter is clearing so I can see just how bad it's goten around here with Mommy out of commission. We need a good chain reaction. I'm so glad it isn't just that way at my house:)

That is exactly what needs to be done at my house! April will be ea busy month, but I paln to do a lot of "use it or lose it", too! And we all know the "If you give a mouse a cookie" routine!
Just curious, am I carzy, or did this post read differently this morning?

Kathy said...

Boy, I sure had the typos in my comment! April will be a busy month, but I plan......

Glad I am not the only one who read the post earlier and came back to read comments and thought it said something different this morning! Sometimes the subtle rewording makes me wonder if I dreamed what was originally written!

I, too, am looking forward to seeing the newly painted room. I hope the color was what you had envisioned.

So glad to see that I'm not the only one this happens to! :)

And thanks, Meredith, for the recent comment on my blog. It means a lot!

Aha! The hazards of being resourceful about storage! LOL

Sorry about that--the formatting of the text looked off in Internet Explorer, and I couldn't get it to post without the lines running together. I had to rewrite into a shorter paragraph so it wouldn't hurt your eyes.

Isn't it funny how one thing leads to another. Have fun getting your nest all organized.

God bless.

This sounds like the children's book series 'If You Give A Mouse A Cookie.' Some other titles are If you GIve a Pig a Pancake, If You Give A Pig a Party, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, They all start out with the title and then it leads you down a crazy path of messy busy fun! Hope you can squeeze some fun in there!
