Old meets new

Today, stylist Eddie Ross wins my heart.

See how he pairs secondhand silver utensils with food gifts.

I love thrift/antique store treasures and gifts . Just in the last few weeks I have found and purchased from a thrift store : two sterling silver candleholders and a sterling mint julep cup for a $1.00 each .
A victorian fern stand ( originally priced at an antique store for $130.00 ) for $4.00 !!!
A kitchish Russian painting for $5.oo and a lovely dressing table chair with a needlepoint seat and and rose design carved into the top of the backrest for $15.00 .
I had to leave the awesome desk with the carved legs for $40.00 , because I had no place to put it .
But , I would gift or receive any of these items as a gift with a warm heart and : )
