We celebrated at my aunt's home in town
They took pity on me: I brought the ice tea from the Mrs. Winner's drive thru.
Tried to capture that winning Christmas card shot while we had a borrowed backdrop and clean clothes.
(You know where I bought them!)
I'm so thankful for all the friends who visit this corner of the internet. Here's hoping you had as wonderful a time with your family as we did with ours!

Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!
Meredith,
You bring joy to my heart. I'm so thankful for you and your blog.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Heather
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! We also took advantage of the opportunity to get a family photo. Next time, though, I need to remember to take it at the beginning of the visit instead of at the end when everyone is tired and cranky. At least we were still clean!
happy thanksgiving to you too. :)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love the picture of the children... So true... would make the perfect picture ...that's real life!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love the pic!!! Those green outfits are great!
Your aunt's home is very elegant and lovely.

Your picture looks a lot like mine. Emily is the one wailing in my photo though :) Happy Thanksgiving to your family, my friend!
Couldn't help noticing how out of place the disposable pie plate looked in those surroundings with the silver serving pieces. I am surprised someone didn't transfer it to a "real" dish! I am sure it was just as yummy, though!
Thank you for your inspiring and informative blog! You have helped me build up the courage to start my own. I hope you will stop by and check out my humble blog. I look forward to hearing from you, Jodi Whitehead
