You don't need translation to enjoy its simple beauty. Which delicious garden blogs keep you away from the magazine stand?

What a BEAUTIFUL site!! I'm not normally one who covets, but this presents quite the temptation to do so! I want to move to Norway now! (Especially since it is so hot here in the south U.S.) BTW, I have to tell y'all that this is a great time of year to find l0cent packages of flower and vegetable seeds at most drug stores. I just picked up a good supply and will use some in my fall/winter garden. Mrs. L.
P.S. Mel Bartholomew (Square Foot Gardening) says seeds will keep for years if they are stored in a cool, dark place. Oops - That's 10-cent packages. Mrs. L.
I must admit that blogs don't keep me from magazines. While this is a lovely site, it is not the same as curling up with a pretty magazine to peruse at my leisure with a nice cup of tea or cold drink. Magazines are my weakness. If I find I really like one I do get a subscription, however. I do feel quilty when I pay newstand prices.
Gorgeous! I am always in awe of how our Scandinavian sisters do so much with such a short growing season. They treasure their long, sunny summer days-into-nights and their gardens are heavenly.
Did you see, if you scroll down, it's translated very nicely into English? Thanks for the link!
I used to live in Norway. The summers are so beautiful there. My bedroom window overlooked a fjord. *sigh*
I never loved living there because we moved there in the middle of my junior year of high school, but when I look around at the blah North Texas landscape and feel the oppressive heat, it does make me a little wistful for our home in Norway.
Well over here in Norway I am afraid we have been sweltering away at 35'C for a while now...although today, at last, the rain has come. Our gardens are very thirsty! Gill

This doesn't have to do with gardening but the Norway reference reminded me of this swedish blog that I think you would enjoy.

I discovered it last month and was incredibly impressed. Have you seen it before? It reminded me a bit of you.
And it is in English!
