Sounds like your dh got some male bonding time, and you got some time to some things that you wanted to accomplish.

How are you feeling? I hope good but being pregnant has it's up and down feeling days.

Have a great day!

Gosh, Meredith....the camping doesn't even look remotely fun to me. I, like you, am one tired mommy, and sometimes all the outdoor stuff, done in the heat of the summer, is better left to the daddies of the world!! Hope you get some answers to your health issues very soon, and that your energy rebounds going into the final stretch of your pregnancy.
Susan :-)

Let's just say that if camping were suddenly declared illegal...

...I would be the only frugal person not to protest!

Sooooo grateful we didn't have to camp out.

This makes me sound like a snob, but I cannot stand camping. Living in dirt. Yuck. Definitely daddy work. Hope you got some rest.

I seem to remember the middle trimester always being the hardest - except for those last couple weeks maybe. My idea of camping is at a real nice motel.

Why on earth would you ever HAVE to camp out? It would take an act of congress to make me go camping. My idea of roughing it is to stay in a hotel that doesn't have room service! It's hot, you are pregnant and not well, so relax and wait in air-conditioned comfort for your new son to arrive!

We LOVE camping. Of coarse it is in our travel trailer with air conditioning, a fridge, and queen size bed with a full bathroom not 10 feet from the bed. That is the only way this Mom/Grandma will camp these days. In Texas it is just flat out too hot. Hit 104 today. Roxie

You're telling me! Sleep on the ground when pregnant and already sleeping is hard enough? No thanks! Extreme heat + extra weight of baby? Not!
So glad your 'boys' got some time together, but I'm with you on the no-camping-during-pregnancy!

That looks like a cool camp set-up! Our family loves to camp together -- I especially love no phones, no tv, no computer, etc.

I've been camping one time. I was bored to tears after a few hours. Sleeping on the ground? It's not something I want to do voluntarily! Pregnant and camping? No way!

I love camping. Especially historical reenactment camping. It's got bugs, fire, water, and lots of fresh air. Sort of like my apartment without as much mold. ;)

So what did you decide about AAA and the identity theft insurance?? Nosy minds want to know!! :-)

I hate camping with the white hot intensity of 10,000 suns. HATE. IT. I can't even believe that some people consider that "vacation". That's more work than just staying at home!

This looks like a living history encampment, reenactment type thingy. This brings back fond memories as we used to do Rev War living history. This is probably Civil War, which was about 100 years later.
