This is Meredith's brother, Ed. She's waiting on a new power cord for her laptop and will return shortly. Thanks.

Thanks, Ed.

Every morning, I read

Meredith-
We miss you! It was kind of your brother to fill us in on your behalf. In fact, it would be fun if you could talk him into doing some "frugality and the bachelor" type posts while you are waiting on your cord!
Glad to hear that all is well with all of you, though!

Meredith I'm sorry to hear you are away, but glad I didn't miss too much of your great info while I was away!

Very sweet of your brother to update us all! Hope you are back in blogland soon.

Meredith, now that we know you're pregnant, we do get scared when you don't post for a couple days! It's amazing how involved we feel with our internet friends, isn't it?

Meredeth,

I have an apple power cord for the G series that I don't need because my laptop died. I was going to free cycle it. If you or any other reader here can use it, please let me know.

I'll miss you, Meredith! I've had a snuggling baby in my lap most days that I've been visiting your lovely blog so I haven't been leaving many comments, but I'm sending prayers that your internet is up again and we get you back! :o)

What a nice brother to do a PSA!

I've missed out on so much since I've been away for a bit. Like the fact that you'll be having a baby! So now that I've come back, I find you missing! :) lol!

Oh, well. did you have your yard sale after all? We are doing a big weekend purge this weekend too. Even my 11yo daughter is doing it in her room ALL ON HER OWN. You just KNOW spring cleaning is in the air (even in FL) when the kids start throwing out their toys! :)

What a sweet brother. I'm new to all this blog stuff. I've never posted before. I do enjoy your blog. Congrats on the new baby to be. Your missed. Hope to hear from you soon. I've checked the sight several times.
Can anyone tell me how you start a Blog in the first place?

Where is this new power cord coming from that it is taking so long? Doesn't Best Buy or somebody local sell those? Anyway, you are missed and we will be glad when that cord arrives!

Meredith.. I think some of us (and by some of us, I mean me) are starting to worry. Would Ed mind posting another note to let us know you are indeed ok?

Yeah...I am wondering the same thing. A power cord for a laptop takes THIS long? Aren't things like that available within a day or two from almost any retailer in the nation? Meredith did say, however, when someone questioned one of her earlier absences, that she might quit blogging "sooner rather than later". Hope that's not the case!

Ummm. . . . most of us seem to be forgetting about Meredith's postponed yard sale and her mentioning that they might be in the market for a replacement vehicle. Both of those are very time-consuming endeavors. Also, at my house just because the replacement power cord or whatever arrives, doesn't necessarily mean that it gets installed immediately. I can't imagine that Meredith would stop blogging without some sort of farewell - she's far too gracious to abandon her readers like that. Until she has time to compose a new post, read her archives or some of her "blogs I love to read".

Thanks for the update Ed! Miss you Meredith! Look forward to your return whenever you are able...though I wouldn't be shocked if pregnancy & family needs take precedence for a while...say a year?

Meredith,

Take your time. We love you, but you have no obligation to us.

Take care.

Love, Heather

Ed, please give us an update. Is Meredith ill? Still no cord? Giving up the blog? or Just none of our business? Thanks. She is missed and everyone is concerned for her well being.

I really hope you are well. Sure miss your blog. It is always a bright spot of my day. Please take care of yourself. Your health comes first, especially now that you are expecting your 3rd child. Hope all goes well with the computer fix, the car hunt, and everything else. Roxie
