I enjoyed your article on "Pruning Your Fear of Hospitality."
I grew up in a home where there was pretty much ZERO hospitality most of the time. Sometimes my mom's parents would come over - never for a night...usually just a few hours over lunch and then they'd leave...even though they lived 4.5 hrs from us!
When I got married I just decided I was not going to be that way! We've had overnight house guests, week long house guests and many dinner guests. It can be as easy or as difficult as you want to make it.
It seems so difficult to really get to know people, especially from church - unless you sit down, have a meal and a good long visit!

The website mentioned in the last post results in lots of pop-ups and is hard to get out of.
When I left I kept getting asked to download a file from them.
Thanks for that article on hospitality, it really covers the basics in a nice, non-condescending way.
