Quick, cheap, easy color

I was running low on energy and funds before last week's coffee. I just couldn't get my winter pots planted in time.

Instead, I stuffed a $1.17 six-pack of pansies in this basket at the front door. The thin plastic makes a six-pack flexible enough for most containers, if you are ever in an entertaining pinch.

Meredith, you always amaze me. If I was pressed for time, budget, or just what ever I would SKIP the flowers all together. Only you would take a little bit of flowers and put them into a basket to make something really nice. Your blog is wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with us. Roxie

Meredith -

I can't seem to find your e-mail address...sorry I didn't keep it! Anyway, I have some vintage Tupperware that I'm not using anymore and I plan to sell it Saturday at a yard sale unless you want it. I'd be happy to give it to you free.

One is 9 inches tall, 8 inches in diameter and the other is 7 1/2 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches diameter. I have a photo I can e-mail you.

Thanks!
Monica

I just repotted some pansies that are struggling to stay alive (not being watered will do that.) Now I'm headed to the attic to look for a basket to hide the yucky pot they are in. Thanks for inspiring me to save the pansies!
