Wow! I just read that Target now carries Isaac Mizrahi wedding dresses and more--including veils, bridesmaids' dresses, and coordinating pashmina shawls. While no one wants a totally Target wedding, the prices are hard to beat, and the shopping is easy. Me, I've been hanging on to an all-silk Scaasi sheath that I'm hoping my sister will wear one day. It was too small for me, but I couldn't leave it lying on the rack for $25.

HI Meredith-
I saw a segment about this yesterday on the Oprah Winfrey show. I have to tell you that I NEVER watch Oprah, because I never watch daytime TV (too busy homeschooling 5 kids and keeping a home running!!), but I was going through some stuff in the living room for a garage sale we're going to have and turned it on at the last minute. The whole show was about fashion and home fashion for very little money! (Love that topic!) They had models wearing the Target wedding dresses and I thought they looked very lovely. Very simple, not a lot of embellishment, but very nice for the price. I think they could be a part of a lovely wedding.

Someone was kind enough to email me about that upcoming episode, but I completely forgot to watch it!
My mom was most impressed by the basketball player who has come up with $15 athletic shoes for kids. Take that, Nike!
I was mad that they didn't have that a few years back when I could have used it :)
Wow! Wedding dresses for $159! That's fantastic! I found mine at a consignment store for less than $200... never been worn!
