Foraging for greens

Stephanie of Stop The Ride has a gorgeous bowl of spring salad greens to eat. She's learned to gather wild plants for fun and frugality. As a teenager, I gathered wild carrot roots, mullein, morels and other edibles on my grandparent's farm, but my family scared me out of eating them. Stephanie, you've inspired me to try again soon!

Oh I hope you do! We looked and looked for morels last spring. Never found any. We did find other mushrooms later though. We are very careful about mushrooms though.

Do you eat mullein? We have tons of it. I've only seen medicinal uses for it.
