The man who donated the original Declaration

Today's Tennessean had a great follow up to the story of the thrift store Declaration of Independence. The man who donated the document to Music City Thrift came forward. Here's the really interesting part: HE bought it at a YARD SALE! Wouldn't you hate to be the wife who nagged him to clean out the garage?

I would love to trace the history of this particular document. How did it get to Tennessee in the first place?

I'd be claiming a huge tax deduction if I were him.

i'm just so glad, he isnt being the bitter guy who says that money should be his etc....he said it best, if i still had it, it would still be hanging in the garage....for his good spirit i wish for his other two things to worth something....
