Declaration of Independence found in thrift store

A Nashville man bought an authentic Declaration of Independence at Music City Thrift on Gallatin Road. He paid $2.48. It's worth $200,000. NewsChannel5 has more information.

All of you regular readers who say Nashville's thrift stores must be so great?
I finally have to agree with you.

I have shopped at that store, but since it's so far on the other side of town, would not have been likely to find it.

I'm sure I would have thought it was a reproduction, just as the pricing people certainly did. It was rolled up like a scroll.

unbelievable! I am itching to get back to thrift store shopping, but I find it so hard to do with 4 kiddos under 7. what a great story!

Craziness! I actually heard a snippet of this story on a Charlotte, NC radio station today. But I didn't know it happened in Nashville. Woah!
