Replacing my stove

Remember when my oven burned out, exhausted after baking 300 muffins? I've been hobbling along since December. Its crazy controls alternately give us char blackened pizza crust and icy cold toppings, or soft quiche with a rubbery cheese layer on top. Enough is enough! But do you know how hard it is to find an all-white, non-electronic stove?

Today, we checked the closest thrift store. Yes! A white stove sat in the back corner. It still has digital display, but it's a clean white GE Profile, a better brand than most of what I've seen. It's priced $99. If I wait one more day, it will be 50% off with a donation to the store. 15 hours is worth a $50 gamble.

Only I didn't count on the ice and snow! Oh, please let it be there tomorrow. Stovetop cooking is getting messy. After writing this, I realized how lucky I am to have even a stovetop at my disposal! Can you imagine trying to make dinner on a woodburning stove?
