Pssst!

My family had a great idea this weekend. Do you take as many photos of your child's Lego creations as you do of the new baby? Wouldn't you like to have a spot to share them online, where other kids could go for inspiration? I've started a blog called Kids' LEGO Creations for just this purpose. Photo submissions will be interspersed with tips for handling the LEGO monster, organizing that mountain of bricks, and other fun links I find on the Web. Though I've staked my Blogger claim, content won't launch until December.

I haven't quite worked out how photo submissions should be handled. Does anyone with experience in this type of setup have advice to share?

You can make a group blog with several bloggers, so that you don't make it your job managing and putting up all the content by yourself.

Meredith - This will be a blast:) I just posted a picture of Levi with one of his "freeform" creations - we do take lego pictures all the time:) Keep us updated:)

That's a great idea! My 4 boys (hubby included) love Legos. We currently have 3 buckets full and may need a new one after Christmas. They will spend hours making one of a kind creations. I know they will love seeing what other kids make.

Could you set up an email account for photo submissions? That seems the most reasonable solution to me. Then you could cut and paste them to the blog posts. Check out this Lego replica of Ohio State's Stadium:
