From grand to grandiose

If, like Roberta, you're wondering what became of my holiday vision, it fizzled, as those kind of visions are wont to do. It began to sound grandiose rather than grand. Thanks again for all your suggestions. I talked it over with my husband, and I realized we're still getting into our groove with the new house. We'll see what kind of decorations the neighbors do. I'll start saving ideas and materials for next year.

Besides, I still have last year's 26 dozen muffin extravaganza to replicate!
