For Lego lovers

Your child can get a free two-year subscription to Lego magazine simply by calling 1-866-534-6258. It is published six times a year. I hope I can use the first issue as a stocking stuffer!

When we signed up a while ago, we got one issue and never saw another one. Much to my son's disappointment. We signed up again a month or so ago and haven't seen an issue yet. I hope it comes more regularly this time around.

This is not a frugal idea, I can tell you! lol

My son used to get this, he just loved it!

oh yeah. I agree with coffee/muffin, SO not frugal! But we consider our years of investment in Lego (and they WILL want WAY more when they see the Lego mag) as money very well spent.

Just wait until Elise gets on American Girl's list of "freebie"s : )

We just got our Shop At Home catalog yesterday. One of our daughters also gets the magazine. We have never had a problem with it and it has given me a peace of mind for a few minutes. Some things they don't get to see (we just use a black marker to cover up things we don't like them to see) but no big deal. It's free for the magazine and yes, it is hard to resist temptation to buy but it gives you a idea of what the worth is if you see a set at a yard sale. My husband has the biggest problem with saying "I want that!".

My boys (teenagers) still love it when the Lego magazine comes. They don't play with Legos anymore, but they enjoy it. I don't know why, but we have been receiving it for at least 9 years. They just keep sending it. We only signed up once.

Thanks so much for the idea!! My son is a Lego fanatic and I am sure he will like this.

My oldest has gotten this magazine for several years and LOVES it. Beware though, it usually comes with a comic book based on the Bionicles that may not be age appropriate.

Susan, I agree with your caution concerning the Bionicle comic that is included.
I've been throwing away the Lego "magazine" because it really is more of a catalog. My boys are normally content, but "I want.." and wishlists appeared when the Lego mag came in the mail.
Just my experience =)
