I was tickled to discover the Take It With You series of guidebooks. They are designed, not for planning your next vacation, but for your next trip to an ethnic grocery! I checked out Asian Grocery Stores Demystified. I always feel so foreign when I enter an ethnic grocery; however, at the rate they're popping up all over Nashville, it's a shame not to explore! These handy guides explain item by item, giving specific brand names to watch for and suggesting ways to use them in your own kitchen. Other titles include Indian Grocery Stores Demystified and Caribbean Grocery Stores Demystified.
