Are we placing our children at risk by posting their photos online? Do we include too much local or contact information, making it easy for predators to track them down? Are we announcing our vacations and leaving our homes wide open for burglaries?

I was just in a small grocery where the owner wanted to take pictures of children and post them on the bulletin board. I thought that was a little creepy, so I declined. As I checked out he slipped three candies into our bag. In the old days we would have given him a warm thanks. Today I have to eye him with suspicion.
