My boys love those little knick-knacks, for whatever reason. We usually pull the box out when it comes time for me to read out loud to the kids. Most of the toys are quiet toys, yet they give the kids something to "fidget" with while they listen. (Otherwise they get to wiggling and can't sit still, or do totally-mama-annoying things like pick their noses.)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10797876049874806102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12364613.post-46972127525882388092008-06-18T22:26:00.000-05:002008-06-18T22:26:00.000-05:00"What little plastic toy?" They aren't cluttering up my house, plus, when they inevitably fall out of the car, it's no big loss. I occasionally sort through the basket when it gets too full to make room for the new acquisitions.<BR/> SaraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12364613.post-76825585633074177602008-06-18T11:03:00.000-05:002008-06-18T11:03:00.000-05:00I loved all the ideas on that blog! Same goes for the occasional kids' meal toy. The rule is that you can keep it for the rest of the day. If they get it late in the day I will usually let it stay until the next evening but it's always thrown out while they're in bed. Daddy announced this rule so it has considerably more weight than if I had just mentioned it. Amazing what a "proclamation" can do :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
