I don't know how I would handle a MIL who drops in frequently and gave junk to the kiddos.Catherine at Frugal Homemaker Plushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00014697591588112092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12364613.post-1143342103938198112006-03-25T21:01:00.000-06:002006-03-25T21:01:00.000-06:00I'm a grandma. A regular dose of junk is not only unhealthy, it makes it harder and harder to keep your child on the healthy track as they get older. (Can you hear experience speaking here? :-) )

With your son's genetic predisposition to diabetes, I'd be hard pressed to lightly dismiss regular "treats" like these from grandma. You have my sympathy, and my empathy!mothersonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05482672623267162930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12364613.post-1143325712209722502006-03-25T16:28:00.000-06:002006-03-25T16:28:00.000-06:00I say ENJOY! She traveled far for raw milk, raw honey, etc. One day I happened upon this young man, furtively knoshing on Captain Crunch out of the garbage cans behind the mess hall at Bible camp.

Let him eat the stuff when Grandma comes!
