  1. Up at 3am? You must be feeding the baby. Nite nite

  2. That slaw looks great! I did not know that you could freeze cabbage like that! I will have to check out your other post. Thanks for those tips. Jackie

  5. We have dandelions with clover (shamrocks) in a very similar glass dish on our table too. I never thought to put them on a pretty plate. I need to go back and re-read your archives!

  6. I promise--I'm not an all-night blogger. Baby John has an ear infection (again) and can't sleep.

  7. Today I am off work - but home trying to purge -
If I can get to it, I will pick up some fresh flowers to put in a vase and brighten things up a bit -

It's spring everywhere else but here - But I do plan to offer some spring in the home - once I disinfect all the necessary places and clean out the fridge -
I always jokingly say, "I take off work, to go to work" -
A workin' mama's job is 'never' done, so it seems -

I love these days when I can be home with my youngest and treat him to the park while my oldest is at school -

Time is winding near and I might need to get a move on with the cleanin' - I'm determined not to spend my Saturday doing all that needs to be done -
Now if I can just get my inspriational music on, which is "bluegrass' mountain music, I'll be good to go!

On the way to, 'cheerful frugality' -ville-

    Latrice!

  9. Great read Meredith! We're familiar with good enough and do without here. But what I really need to work on is approaching these with an attitude of abundance instead of lack.

Hope the little one feels better!

  10. How lovely! I'm finding joy in the startling equinox-snow outside our windows this morning, free to the beholder.

  11. What a great article! You always write what's in my heart but can't get out due to my foggy pregnancy brain.

  12. Glad to know you are not always up at 3am... sorry to hear about the ear infection. Praying it clears up soon.
Will have to stop by Simple Mom tonight to read your guest post.

  13. I am sorry that the baby is sick, but you can always have your picnic another day. I just hope he feels better soon. Ear infections are so painful!
