Thrift store curriculum

I hope you are all visiting Dewey's Treehouse for a thrift store curriculum workshop! Mama Squirrel there bought $12 worth of used books and designed a plan to use them. Even if you're not homeschooling, you'll be inspired by her creativity. This five-part series is a must read for thrifty parents!

    Thank you for the link! I had to update that because I forgot that I "fudged" with a couple of extra books, so I guess you should up that $12 to $17. But still not bad, huh?

    Our thrift stores don't have great selection; however, our library has absolutely awesome used book sales twice a year, and I've picked up a ton of great books (including classics) for no more than $1.50/book (mostly less than that).

    It's fun to be a frugal homeschooler!!!
