Cottage industry

Great news for all Tennessee bakers--the state regulatory department has relaxed its rules regarding the sale of home-baked and canned goods! It's no longer illegal, so long as you purchase a $50 permit and follow the guidelines for home kitchen safety. Previously, any food item had to be prepared in a certified, commercial kitchen.

  1. This is good news. I hope Texas follows suit.
