Bargain soccer shoes

As spring sports near, don't forget unusual places like Aldi for equipment. The discount grocer is advertising a special purchase of shin guards and leather soccer cleats. Those sporting shoes can add up quickly! When my husband coached wrestling and track, we bought every used pair we could find for under $1. This "lending library" gave a break to the athlete's families. Who knew that adolescent feet could grow two sizes in one season!

I love Aldi! Didn't have those till I recently moved to SC. Loving it! and you're right, they do have unexpected things there.

I did the same thing with snowpants and snowboots when I lived on base in VA-I bought every pair that came into the thriftstore. The ones that my kids never fit into I give away to someone who can use or sell at our annual neighborhood yardsale.

Man-o-man do I wish there was a Aldi up here in NH. Our daughter-in-law and son live is San Diego and they love the Aldi there. When we go out there to visit, we stop by just to look at what they have. Great Store!
