There's some medical reason for that, but I don't remember what it is. If you can't use a coffee table or stool, an upside down wastebasket with a pillow on top works!<BR/> I remember being super swollen when I was pregnant with my son (now 30 years old). It was miserable; the only shoes I could wear were flip-flops. As far as your toes go, have your hubby paint your toenails for you.
